All advertising taken for both print and digitial media owned by the Publisher must satisfy the Fair Trading Act: the Advertiser undertakes to the Publisher that no material, statement or information contained in the advertising is in full or in part likely to infringe the Act, breach copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right. Advertisement positioning in both print and digital media is made at the discretion of the Publisher, unless agreed otherwise by prior arrangement.
Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained in print and online media, The Publisher can accept no liability for any inaccuracies that may occur. Any claim in respect of errors made in advertising must be made within 7 working days of publication in writing, to the Publisher.
A cancellation fee of 50% of the total cost booked by the Advertiser will be charged by the Publisher if such cancellation occurs after the deadline date.
The content or origin of the advertisement is not restricted by any national or international geography but payment is due in New Zealand dollars 7 days after publication of said advertising, unless by prior arrangement. The Publisher may charge interest for late payment on a daily basis at the rate of 2% per month on overdue accounts until such accounts are settled in full. Interest will continue to accrue both after and prior to any judgement that the Publisher may obtain against the Advertiser. Said Advertiser may also be liable for all of the Publishers expenses incurred in obtaining or attempting to obtain payment of the overdue debt.
All advertising sales agreements are confirmed and agreed in writing / in person by way of The Publisher’s Order Form, for use in online and print media, where General Terms are also stated. See also Advertising Rates PDF for further terms of advertising.
