Since the success of their art exhibition last August, the Mãngere Bridge Art Group is holding another exhibition on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th February, between 9am and 4pm, at St James Church Hall, 31 Church Road, Māngere Bridge. All are welcome, and entry is free. You may simply want to browse, or buy a special piece of art that catches your eye! There will also be a raffle of a painting donated by a club member.
Paintings include a variety of subjects, from local and New Zealand landscapes, to flora and fauna, bird life, still-life, abstracts and new contemporary works. The group uses a range of mediums including oils, watercolour, pastel, acrylic, and mixed media. All artworks are of a high standard, and are for sale at very affordable prices.
The art group holds informal weekly gatherings every Thursday morning, 9am -12pm, at Bridge Bowling Club, 27 Taylor Road, Māngere Bridge.
