Proposal to close Onehunga Kiwibank open for consultation1 min read

The Kiwibank may close at the end of the year.

We have been notified that the local Kiwibank is set to close at the end of 2021. Kiwibank says this closure is due to “upcoming lease review, as well as significant decline in branch usage”. They estimate 90% of all transactions go through their digital channels.

Going forward, the closest branch for face-to-face services will be at St Lukes, or cashless transactions at Sylvia Park.

Kiwibank are asking for your views to be submitted by Friday 12th March, at which time they will review all feedback before making a final decision.
