Congratulations to Josephine Bartley, who has won the seat of Auckland Councillor for the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Ward.
Josephine (Labour), formerly the chair of the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board, beat her rival, Josh Beddell (C&R/Future Auckland), with 7225 votes, over his 5648 votes. She says, “It is an honour to be elected for the councillor in our area. I will work hard for Maungakiekie-Tāmaki, alongside the Local Board.”
